This mod allows you to switch between compatibility modes using the built-in app that comes with this firmware. You can switch between the DJI Matrice Series RM700 RC Plus firmware, the DJI Mavic 3 consumer RC Pro RM510 firmware, or the DJI Mavic Enterprise RC Enterprise firmware RM510B.

Technically yes, however, I advise not to update the Mavic 3 past v01.00.1300.

The NLD RC Plus - Compatibility Mod extends compatibility to the following DJI models:

  • DJI Matrice M30, M300, M350
  • DJI Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3 Classic

The mod includes DJI Fly version 1.12.5, which can be updated to the latest version.

The mod installs DJI Pilot 2 version 7.0.3.9. This version can be updated, but it has yet to be tested with the Matrice M30T.

Yes, the HDMI port works. However, the controller runs at a resolution of 1920x1200 (16:10), while the HDMI port can only output 16:9 resolutions. This is a hardware limitation of the DJI RC Plus and is not related to the hack. The DJI Pilot 2 application has an option to stretch the display to 16:9. The result will be a black border around your DJI Fly HDMI output.

Based on limited testing, yes, Remote ID is disabled.

From all accounts, the FCC hack works. However, I am in Australia and have been unable to test it.

Currently, these features require modified firmware on the drone to make them work. Watch this space for updates.

You can, however, DJI will be able to see you have a modified firmware and will charge a fee to have this removed. This is a temporary issue. NLD has future plans to provide a solution where, as long as the controller can boot, NLD should be able to restore the DJI official firmware for warranty purposes.

Unfortunately not, and it is unlikely to be added in the near future.

Yes, the RC Plus is for all intents and purposes an RC Pro, so there is no graphic to show it. However, it appears that the controller still pulls from it (more updates on this later).

ADB is fully open in root mode (be careful).
